About The Project
TATRAS Group was involved in Granville Bridge Rehabilitation and Seismic Upgrades. The project started in 2019 and took approximately 2 years to complete, finishing in 2021. The work performed by TATRAS took place underneath the bridge deck which is an ultimate playground for our technicians to implement rope access climbing techniques and years of experience to get to hard-to-reach areas.
SCOPE OF WORK
Drainpipes replacement – deck drainage system above False Creek channel and Granville Island
Debris netting installation above Granville Island as a precautionary measure to protect the general public
Bird netting installation along the main span to prevent excessive bird nesting on the bridge structure
Structural tabs repair & replacement
Structural rivets replacement
