About The Project
Tatras Industrial supported the general contractor in the removal and installation of
audio-visual equipment at the Simon Fraser University Auditorium. The scope of work
included tasks such as rigging and lowering speakers and screens, running cables, and
removing outdated equipment. To ensure worker safety at elevated heights, a temporary
horizontal lifeline system was installed along the catwalks. Additionally, rope access
techniques were utilized, allowing workers to safely reach and perform tasks in challenging, hard-to-access areas above the catwalk. This approach ensured both efficiency and safety throughout the project.
